Big airlines at Gatwick being reduced
What is going on at Gatwick?Heard today on Radio Jackie that 100s of B.A. staff being transferred to LHR.Longhaul & Shorthaul being almalgamated and also another airline taking over.Any truth in all this.Please add any information as I have only heard this on Radio Jackie at 11.00am.

Cabin services to merge LH and SH into a "midfleet" on the hourly rate etc ie the LGW SH deal.
No CSD's (result) and flying mixed.
All current LGW LH crew to be offered transfer to LHR.
As I said RUMOUR..but a strong one.

i work at lgw and whats happend is there was a letter saying that they want crew to fly both long and short haul but its not yet offical the letter was not signed by anyone and they were only put in purses mail drops not main crew there was a load left lying around for us to pick one up .We havent been told if this is going a head its only a proposal, some crew are made up that this might happen and some are not we will just have to wait see .I was also told that they are bringing more routs over , but again only rumours if i hear anymore i let you know ,you probably know more than us.
