Hey all,
I am curious to know, have any of you experienced flights were you have been genuinley frightened or concerned. And how did you react?
As I have no idea what I would be like in a frightening situation where thoughts cross your mind about things going wrong. I think most poeples reaction is to crumble and scream (well I think I would) - is it true that you just overide the fear and deal with it, or do you deep down freak out, yet still manage to look fabulous and get on with it?
Keen to hear some of your experiences.

Non-pilot, non-cabin crew speaking. The simple fact is that none of us know how we will react, until we look back on it.
When I was involved with various bomb alerts in London in the 1980s, I recall the events surrounding the Harrods bomb (Dec 1983, IIRC). I should state that this story is NOT from Harrods staff. I was responsible for all telecommunications, including security two-way radio. Setting aside my reaction, one of the coolest and most reliable people to help that day was the man who was in charge of the hair salon. He proved that gay man are just as brave as any man. He was public thanked and complimented by the MD.
Hope that you do not have to find out. But, if it does, you may well find that you do not have time to think about it - 'things' happen very fast.
