recommendation for first time airlines

I already work for an airline (not uk), but would like to know which airlines in the uk are the best to start off with. Please also include the ones to avoid.

I told my friend looking to get into this industry that Thomas cook are v.good from what I have heard anyway.

Any thoughts?

Even though we are having loads of problems at the moment with industrial relations, price of oil etc I would say the best one to work for in terms of pay and conditions has to be British Airways.

I have been with them for 14 years and if I ever lost my job with them I wouldn't even consider going to another carrier I would hang up my wings and put my new delsey onto e-bay!!

Just my opinion for what its worth!!!
