Ana @ Lhr

Can anyone give any information about ANA's crew base at LHR? What's it like to be a part of? What are the standards and morale like? Cheers.

Hi there,
Yes the London base has now been going on for three years.
The conditions are good, and the pax (mainly japaneze) are very quiet, they eat-sleep-eat-disembark, japaneze crew are nice main part of the time (but they are japaneze and they are very job-company focused) rest of the time they tend to be too much....
Quite a few people have left lately mainly due to the lack of variety on the routes (Tokyo, Frankfurt, Paris), and there should be (hopefully...as we are now only 58... and we are a bit short of crew) a recruitment in december.
