My only experience is as a passenger, flying with them NCL-Zante and back last month.

Quite simply the best in-cabin service I have ever received from an airline (after flying BA, AA, KLM etc...).

Crew were either Irish or Icelandic and couldn't do enough for me or my 5 month old daughter (making sure she had blankets, helped fit the special lapbelt, held my meal back whilst I looked after her).

Very impressed!

If you think I may hold other info let me know.

Web address (albeit failry basic info):

http://www.islandsflug.is/islandsflug/english/

As an edit: I was talking to one of the Icelandic cabin crew and she only works weekends as her husband can then look after the children. Flexible working at its best.

isn't all that stuff that you said the crew were doing for you and your 5 month old just plain standard things crew should do anyway? i know that's what happens over here most of the time.

Yes, it should be standard but in my experience usually isn't.
