In my time I got to stay at:
Sheraton Perth, Sydney, BNE, Hobart, Darwin, AKL, ASP;
Hyatt MEL, ADL, PER, CBR,;
The Milo tin Hotel in Burnie!;
Hilton ADL,MEL, SYD, CNS;
Too many others that I can't remember.
All those cheap deals OS, on holiday.
The Sheraton Hobart was THE best hotel, they really made crew welcome, and looked after you too.
Drinking TOP quality red at half price at the DRW Sheraton comes a very close second.
ADL Hyatt was worst - nice pub, but service and full dose Adelaide attitude from the staff (I think they thought that they were beter than cabin crew, but hey, weren't they doing the same job?)
Best staff member - Rupert, the doorman at ADL hilton
Your thoughts?

The Beau Rivage Hotel in Geneva,definately the grandest hotel I've ever stayed in (although not the friendliest or the most comfortable)I remember eating my breakfast on the terrace,alfresco,enjoying the views across Lake Geneva(the breakfast was free to ba crew at the time,I would have been to tightfisted to have paid for it myself as it would have cost an arm and a leg,I think a brandy in the bar was about 25 pounds at the time).The last time I stayed there was about 18-19 years ago and I remember other guests staying there at the same time were Christina Onasis and Senator Edward Kennedy(Saw him in the lobby,where we all whispered Chappaquidick,that won't make any sense to you if you are under 40).The staff didn't really like us too much as we were airline staff and didn't really make you feel very welcome but I shall never forget the smell of wealth and sophistication in that hotel.
