Accommodation thread
Ladies and Gentleman,
we all know how important it's been sooner or later for us to find an accommodation immediately!!!. We could tell it was a hot topic from the number of posts we had to delete because of the site rule. But...we had a chat with Danny to try and solve the problem and he agreed on having a "sticky" reserved for people wanting and offering accommodation (thanks Dan!

Very Important Rule: NO agencies, NO commercial business, member to member ONLY.
Please stick to the rule: if we were forced to intervene too often ( as if we weren't too busy already
) we would have to rethink the whole thing.

It is free to use and is not a letting agency and was originaly set up by Aussies, Kiwis and safars as an online helpful community to help those weary Southern Hemisphere travellers find somewhere in London to live, work, drink etc..
It mainly centres on London and the South East but has recently added Edinburgh and Dublin to its list. The adverts for accomodation are mainly private and do not require any admin fees etc. If you want to find a room, flat or house anywhere in London then this is a great place to look.

Hello, i have a large 3 bedroom flat in Edinburgh, only 20 mins from the airport. There's one room up for rent, the other is kept spare, fully furnished flat with internet and cable tv, set in a nice quite part of Trinity, not to far from safeways and the Gym. Accomodation at LHR
My mother has been running a house share for over ten years with lots of Cabin crew staying during their training at Cranebank.
She currently has one small room vacant which is £240.00/calendar month or £65/week including all bills apart from telephone ( incoming only ). Only available to non smokers. The last occupant has left to Australia working for Qantas ! The house is in Stanwell about 15 mins bus journey to Cranebank. I will have a room aviable end of March early April (date to be confirmed). Current lodger buying a house after sending a year with us so can't be all that bad. You will also share the house with a another lady it's always a laugh!! See the sales pitch below.

I'm starting my BA cabin crew training course at LHR at the beginning of May and looking for accommodation in the area for a short-term let (approx 6 weeks).
I'd prefer to rent a room in shared accommodation, but if anyone can recommend a nice and reasonably priced hotel/b&b close to LHR then that'd also be very useful!

I will be looking to rent near LHR with maybe two or three others in JULY 2004. Hoping to share preferably with females (or exceptionally clean men!!!), ideally non-smokers, property value of around £1000 per month (approx £350 per person per month + utilities).

Cheap hotel/B&B....London Luton 15th April ???
Hi there, I have my EasyJet assesment day thurs 15th April at Luton. Obviously the worst impression to make would be if i turned up late!!!... so I am looking for some reasonably priced accommodation with in 10mins of the airport for the night before. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanx

The airport Ibis or Holiday Inn would be ideal as they are closest to easyLand, where I presume your assessment will take place.
