Excellent idea ... we currently have a miss world, a miss universe ... why not a beauty competition for stewardesses?? But what should be the name of the title .. Miss Hostess ??

Have met quite a few drop dead gorgeous drivers in my time... (not very long, sure, but so what?
)
The classic uniform always looks good, but must say the DJ leather jacket thing works for me too...
Back on topic, why not an f/a contest? can do things like demo a perfect 1st class service, deal with 'unhappy pax', model uniform, chance to show off her brain not just her looks (or him for the guys)
They have contest for other things... why not F/As....?

Recently flew Continental and there was a *honey* on the safety vid... French-sounding name, Chauv-something?, and a sexy slightly foreign accent (French Canadian?).
But yep, on average VS push more buttons for me than anyone else. Although I haven't tried Hooters... yet!

The point here is that there are good and bad in all airlines...I nearly married a BA hostie, had it not have been for something she said..("Get out of my house, I never want to see you again!")...

Sky_Hi I almost fell off my chair at the idea of an F/A pageant... that would be hilarious! You could have the Speech section (as per your thoughts), a Modelling section (perhaps in lieu of swimwear, we could wear High-Viz vests?), a general aviation knowledge section (duuuhhh I'm a flight attendant... kidding!) and a Best Safety Demo section?
