No wish to put down the QF girls who are still delicious...but i do have fond memories of the lovely British Caledonian girls...esp around Three Bridges in (I think) Surrey. God, those were the days...sigh...

Never flown with Virgin, so couldn't possibly comment. The best spread of evenly delectable hosties I've come across flew for Icelandair. Mmmmmm, nice. Emirates, as someone else mentioned, are certainly not far behind and has a superior, how shall I put it, ethnical spread compared to anything else I've pax'ed on. Gulf Air's bit the same, but more stunners on EK.
Have also heard that Virgin Blue should employ a lot of talent in the cabin, but still, Icelandair for me if you please.
Back to reality: Does a perfect "10" perform better in an emergency than your grandmother with 25+ years of experience? It is what they are therefore, innit, the safety bit?

From my experience...the most beautiful flight attendants in the Qantas group were the link chicks!
ie. Babelink - national jet chicks
Pulse chicks - Jet Tarts/Pornstar - 717 chicks
Sunnies - Sunstate
Sunnies chicks do the walk and do the talk and do their thang during sign off and sign on. From the crew room to the car park they litterally stop traffic! The lollipop man will hold up a tug and 5 galley trucks to let a sunnies chick cross with her clear lensed CDs! It causes accidents lol
There's a couple exotic chics from Pulse --> Jetstar I can't mention any names but we used to nick name her Iman/Naomi
