The Waiting Game ....

First of all thanks to the board members out there who have provided me with entertainment, information and the ability to believe in myself.

I have just completed my final interview for a graduate position with Qantas – a position that would not just see me working for a company that I admire but allowing me to fulfil my dream of working for the Australian flag carrier.

My question out to everyone there is:

“How did you manage to handle the waiting game?”

I have handed over my criminal checks and references, done the final interviews and now I am just waiting for the final response.

I realise that to get this stage is just an achievement in itself but I am feeling there is more pressure on me now than before …. How have those who have been in my position handled this?

Any suggestions or experiences about how you handled this time will be welcomed.

They told me that it will be about three weeks.
