Thumbs up powerful airline in australia

Just wondering who the most powerful airline in australia is by monopoly but not necessarily money. Who rules the sky or is it just 50/50 or just a bit above. Who controls the airfare war and who has the monopoly on everything to do with the skies in australia. Just wondering.

I've just read in a report that Virgin Blue has about 30% share, so I guess Qantas is still leading with about 60-65%. A few years ago (before Virgin) Qantas had even up to 80%.

When I flew domestic two years ago I had the feeling they don't feel any competition, service was poor compared to soem european airlines, but as far as I've heard it really changed.
