new bmibaby uniform
Now the new bmibaby uniform for ground staff and cabin crew as been unveiled, i was just wondering what everyone thought of it? I do have to admit its a vast improvement on the current one but it doesn't really go as smart as i would like (but thats probably so not to confuse us with BD staff). It does look a bit like a blue version of the easyjet uniform though in my opinion. What does everyone else who has seen it think?

I'm sorry i don't have any pictures but i can decscribe it. The men will wear a short or long sleeved blue (bmi colour) shirt and navy trousers (and much better quality than the current ones). There will be a vile navy cardigan with bmibaby down the side to replace the even more vile red sweatshirt. There is going to be a casual jacket, but not a suit jacket, (which i'm quite disappointed about) and to replace the red puffa jacket there is going to be a long blue waterproof coat.
For the women, they will wear a blue blouse, a choice of trousers or skirts and a thick blue sleeveless waistcoat (similar to Asda!!).
Everyone's opinion of the new uniform seems to be positive that it is a vast improvement but it still is definately a "low cost" uniform. It is a lot smarter but purposely not as smart as the bmi uniform.
At the uniform launch at EMA we were told that the new uniform should be ready for late summer/autumn. Not soon enough in my opinion!

...but where is the red?..
Surely the predominant colour to remain
in the customers head would be red?
Seems crazy to take out the stand-out colour and
replace it with a plain one...
