Good luck with the job though.

if i remember right your contract should go on till oct31st and what they usually did at man if thats were you are is because its more summer seasonal there if you got kept on they would send you down to gatwick for winter and then in april may you would go back up to man on a permanent contract, or lay you off till the following summer then you would get your permanent contract in the winter if that makes sence to you , you would go back do another temp summer and then become permanent in winter and stay in man, gatwick is the only base were if you got kept on you carry on as normal without having to transfer to another base

I have been offered a 8 month contract, I didnt think I had been sucessful as they commented on my skin (i have a few spots!!!!!)

They want me to start on Feb 29???

I would love to be kept on perm after the summer though, that is the only thing worring me....

So the general advice then is they are good to work for!!!!!

And they are very keen on the safety aspects???

thank you all soooooooooooooo much xxx

If you've been offered a MAN base you've a good chance of being kept on as they are very busy with all the scheduled flights which operate throughout the winter. A freind of mine who's MAN based, says they are busy and short crewed at the moment. She's a no.1 and is regularly called out to operate as a junior.
They are doing some long haul for the summer also. A good company to work for, used to have some great nights with the MAN based crews in Bahrain

Congratulations!

Worry not about your skin, the more you worry the worse it's likely to be! Positive Mental Attitude!!!!

The MON MAN base is quite a strict one esp with regards to SEP matters, and YES you can expect to work hard esp ig you are on the A320/321 fleet. The good news is that more temps than ever were kept on this year. Work hard, keep out of trouble and the chances are very high.

Look foward to seeing you at "Sunny" Manchester at the end of FEB!!!!

spots

miss chatterbox, do not worry about spots!

My guess is they were just seeing how you reacted to personal criticism, and you obviously did fine. Good luck with your new career.

The "Russian" hats and gloves are winter only. They are hot on ur appearances especialy your hair and make up.With regarding to the SEP question they wont ask u to catch u out but they will ask u the lastest changes in the SEP mannual. It all looks a bit scarey but u will be fine.I dont think they will honnour ur holiday and wont give u any holiday before the end of the 8 month trial period. If u have not told them on ur interview that u have hols booked then they wont honnour that but don;'t quate me on that, they might make exeptions
Hope that will satisfy ur questions
