backed up in storms
Just in from bad storms at BNE.
Out of curiosity I was just wondering what the normal routine is for crew when your aircraft is 3rd in line waiting on the taxiway for a gate? Meanwhile it's thundering outside and lightning is everywhere. Your on the taxiway for at least an hour and your plane is full of customers. What do you do?
Hydration runs whilst on the taxiway? wack on Kath and Kym?
I already know that customers can get permission to use their mobile phones to contact people on the ground to update them on the latest.

All primary crew members are required to be in the vicinity of their respective doors untill they are disarmed so water service is out of the question.
Videos on the taxiway..........
Longhaul would have collected all headsets prior to decent so out of the question.
Shorthaul.........not sure but given that the time length of these types of delays is unknown I wouldnt have thought so.
