Oh Astraeus Why?
I still haven't heard from Astraeus and I have been around long enough to know that if you're successful they ring you straight away. Does anyone know what is the time limit to reapply? Anyone who works for Astraeus please respond..

With MYT it's 6 months, i think this is the same for most airlines however I could be wrong. You still may of got the job, they could just be getting everything in order before they let you know, Good Luck and remember if you haven't got in it's their loss and someone else's gain.

On my experience ....
CVs and application forms get lost between one office and another! ... at least in Italy they do
Maybe the "espresso time" side effects!!! but who knows in UK ... maybe not
I agree with Flyblue ... give them a call!
Good luck

Hey skychick2003, as far as I know the offices are really busy at the moment! & theres quite a lot of recruitment happening. I'm not sure how long they're taking to let people know, but I'm positive they will let you know, just be patient.
Best of luck
But as everyone else has said, give 'em a call, it couldn't hurt, and it would show them you're keen

Dont worry Skychick.
I used to fly for Astraeus.
They called me exactly a week after my interview to tell me i was successful.
They dont have a seperate recruitment department, least they did'nt when i was there, so i would'nt really recommend you phone them.
I hope this helps.
Good luck

Astraeus interview
I've heard from various friends that they are a very friendly airline and something like 1400 people have recently applied to join the airline for LGW and MAN bases.
Astraeus are crew friendly, have a fab cabin crew manager and make you feel relaxed in their interviews.
They make it very clear that they make you work but I know through friends in the airline that they care ..... and that's the most important thing for many crew.

Well, I got the job I'm so happy yes. I'm sorry if I came across as impatient but they were so nice at the interview and made me want to work for them, I so wanted the position.
Its one of those interviews where I just didn't know how I done but it must have been ok. I'm happy although its a while till the training.
Thanks to everyone who replied.

Ahem! the subject of accommodation around Gatwick is a sore point for me
I had to go down twice from Yorkshire to look, and ended up in Hove (Brighton). My best advice would be to get somewhere temporary for your training and get to know everyone else on the initials course, there is bound to be quite a few looking to share also
Good Luck and see you online in March!
