Q's about Jet*
Just thinking about Jetstar since their recruitment website started. Not sure what i think about JetStar, Im sure the answers to the questions below will help make up my mind whether to apply or not.
Please bear with me as know nothing about the FAAA or EBAs and cant find anything usefull on their (FAAAdom) website
What is the Union position on Jetstar?
Will Jetstar cabincrew be able to join the FAAA?
If we join Jetstar are we employed under the same EBA as current Airconnex/Impulse staff or will we be working under different pay and conditions?
What kind of reaction are the J* crew going to get from QF shorthaul, considering from the start most of them will be Impulse staff.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

All Cabin Crew will be under the Impulse 2002-2005 EBA. I can email you a copy if you wish.
Hopefully there will be further enhancements to roster building and flexible work arrangements in the not too distant future. This is to support the dual aircraft operation and the new style of flying.
The reaction I have received from SH crew has been nothing but support for us. All I have spoken to have initiated the conversation and wished us all the best.
I think we all face a little bit of uncertainty in where our careers are going over the next two years. Most cabin crew I have met across all QF divisions want nothing but the best for each other.
