Staff suggestions?
Could anyone tell me if their airline have a "Staff Suggestion Box" in their crew room. Or how about an "Employee of the Month" scheme.
Cabin crew moral is so low at our office that such ideas may give individuals some incentive and make people feel appreciated.
Presently our office is being run like the Hitler Youth and the numbers that are leaving speak for themselves.

At the airline I work for, we have both a suggestion box (but it is a book) and a nomination for employee of the month (in our department only).
The morale however is still terrible and the responses in the book from management (who sometimes say things like "not a priority") are not helping. They often say "we are looking into it" or "addressed with relevant department", this doesn't appear to crew to mean much, since the issues being addressed are still outstanding.
I think they are a good way of opening the lines of communication though
