Talking Australian Airlines question!!

Hey, I was just filling application form again, and just wanted to get ideas or share ideas for this flight attendant insight-
least 3 pharases that you would offer as a flight attendant to AO:
To colleagues:

To Customers:

To the Community:

To the Company:

It will be great if I get few examples.
Thanks buddies.

Come on Ranjha use that grey matter!!

We can't help you with this, this is something you need to do on your own. The application form is about your perception on those three things.

Wrack your brain and write the best words you can think of on a piece of scrap paper before you go putting it on the application form.

Best of Luck!

Sorry Ranjah but I have to agree with SYDGIRL,

It's really important that you answer these questions yourself and in your own words. All airline interviews can be tough so therefore you have to be honest and fully understand what you are writing about, otherwise you may fall into a situation you cant get yourself out of, especially if they ask questions about what or why you wrote those phrases.

Think carefully about the role of Cabin Crew and what it means and how you can relate it to those questions you have. Take your time but they want to know "your" opinion, you may have to expand on it later. You are applying for this position so you have to fully understand what it means. Good luck.

To Customers- Responding to passenger's needs quickly,
Concern for their Safety and Comfort, Deliver good customer service, Communicate well.

To the community- Union, Care about environment, helper in volunteer work. --? I am not sure, has any one have ideas for this one community thingo..??

Stop sweating it!

Nobody reads that crap anyway!

If your face fits, it fits! if not you will end up at a charter airline.

Good luck

hey guys,

Was thinking about completing the AO FA recruitment form, but i dont have my senior first aid cert. I am all paid up for the course, but i cant complete the course untill after the OCT 30 cut off date. The form says that you can attach a receipt of payment for training if your cert has expired. Will they even look at me if i return the form with a receipt for a new Senior First Aid certificate?

Also can anyone tell me whether AO will make u wait six months to apply again if your application is unsuccessful (like QF does)?

Thanks!

They will still look at your application, go for it.......I am living in Tokyo and mine expired and I cant get one until I go back to Oz, I explained I will be arriving a few days prior to the interview to complete my refresher and they are happy with that and have made a note on my file. They tell my Im on priortiy for Nov/Dec rounds so very excited and hope to see you other hopefuls there.

Good luck guys

Is the interview process held over one day or would you have to fly to and from Cairns a few times?

AO interviews tend to be held over the whole one day, so if you are successful expect a long day. They wont expect you to fly up for every stage. Just from past experience you go through about 2 or 3 stages on the first day, then it's the medical and security check sometime after that if things are going well. Medicals have to be done through a GP who specialises in airline medicals and there are several in every city, you send the resuts to the Qantas doctor (it's a tamper proof document). Just a word of warning, getting the go ahead for security and medical checks, which are at you own expense are in no way guaranteed employment. I know many people who made it to this stage with no problems and still didn't make it. Good luck.
