Virgin Atlantic
Does anyone know much about this airline? Do they quite often recruit & do they consider applications from people in Australia with a UK passport? Is the recruitment process hard?

VA Interview
Hi there, I worked for them for 6 months and it took me 4 attempts to get in. It's probably one of the easiest recruitment days but as they choose so few applicants it appears difficult. Don't worry too much and like every interview just be yourself.
1st stage is basically group exercises and a bit of reading. After this you go for a break for about 10 mins. When you come back in this is when they choose people. My interview day consisted of 15 allpicants and only 3 got through. BUT DON'T WORRY. Virgin is not the be all and end all!!! I don't know if its changed, but if they call ya name out, you're through. Then it's a quick maths test and if you pass that, the interview. My interview lasted about 20 mins and was quite easy. It included the usual Qs. I was then sent a letter the next day. Overule, it's a plesant day and the interviewers are nice too.
Don't worry too much and just try to enjoy it. I'm sure they will notice that more. Bit of advice, use the names of the people you are talikng to. Join people in the conversation and keep good body language. No crossing arms and bored faces.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

I have to say that flying for Virgin is good fun. OK the pay may not be all that but personally that's not why I do the job. The places are generally good, the crews tend to be nice and friendly and on similar wavelengths. All I can say is best of luck for the interview, just be your smiley self and hopefully everything will turn out well!
