Question Returning to the job

Does anyone know of anybody that has left flying and then come back to it years later?

I know all the wannabes will be rolling their eyes now at the thought of someone actually giving the job up freely ( no we're not all insane ) but sometimes life deals you choices you have to make.

I was just wondering as I thought I might put my hand back up if they ( specifically QF ) start to advertise again. I've been hearing rumours they might be gearing up over Xmas - only rumours though nothing firm.

When I went through training we had 2 re-treads that had left and come back ( QF long haul ). I was just wondering if they still allow that in recent times.

Also if anyone does know of people returning why did they leave and what did they say in their interviews?

Thanks for any info.
