Virgin Blue growth Finished

Just to verify the email sent yesterday to Virgin Blue staff.

In essense Virgin Blue's growth has come to an end, any future
capacity needed in Australia will be done by "Pacific Blue" as
well as all international operations, "Pacific Blue" will be a
N.Z. company employing Kiwis, Virgin Blue staff will have no
involvement in the new company.

Maybe Virgin Blue crew will feel some of the pain we at QF have been feeling since the introduction of a low cost carrier. Before you know it your CEO will be telling you that your costs are far to high compared to Pacific Blue and you will have to work even harder than you already do. This coming from a company that puts employees at the top of the caring list where is the Virgin Flair now!!

I'm confused now...Does that mean that Virgin Blue will not be recruiting anymore flight attendants from Australia, instead using only flight attendants from Pacific Blue???

The original poster has apparently got the email sent to VB
staff mixed up, Virgin Blue will continue to expand in Australia.

The new outfit in N.Z. will operate domestic there as well as
Trans-Tasman so it was reported in the news today, so DJ
will continue to hire as usual.
