Rough weather
Always amazes me how crew manage to carry on serving us pax when the bl**dy plane is being chucked around all over the place.
Do you get used to it?
Are there times when you are anxiously waiting for the 'crew to seats' call from the guy at the pointy end?

Timmcat, I did once throw myself on my trolley in desperation, somewhere over Arizona. Yep, I jumped up and lay across the booger. It was either the samurai option, or have it charge away on its own and pancake the dozen pax who of course had ignored the seatbelt signs and announcements.
Them trolleys are very heavy. But so am I.

Yes you do get used to it, but unless it's light chop, you shouldn't really be standing/moving in it either.
It should be a judgment call: The Captain's initially, and then if he gives permission to continue working, down to the crew. The ride can often be much worse at the rear than at the front, and that can be easy for us to forget. If in doubt, err on the side of caution and sit down - nobody's gin & tonic is worth an injury.
Many crew don't realise that turbulence is a crew killer - if you read the stats on inflight emergencies that include a breakdown of fatalities/injuries (Flight International may still publish them) you quickly note that a disproportionate volume are to Cabin Crew. I insist that the galleys on my flights are secure (latches down & carts stowed) throughout the flight, and get stroppy with crew ehen they are not. Anyone who has been in moderate/severe will know why.

Gash bag airways how very true you are
Have been flying LTN/AGP/LTN for years and its the worst flight ever to get on your roster, pax are just the same with my airline eg newpapers, veg/kosher/low fat/fruit platter meal etc and bite your head off as soon as they step onto the aircraft.
I totally understand what you are saying
