Toovey have you heard there's a Sydney school in Feb? That makes me scared! Haven't heard any golden calls yet.... :-(

Yes Jessy, on the 9th Feb. That is with MAM Brisbane based, and My December is starting that date too, he is Brissie also. If you are not with MAM it could be different, so hang in tight.

Male, 30 here. I'm new to flying, and honestly, this has come at an awesome time for me. Big congratulations! Can't wait for ground school, so its definitely in Sydney? Shall be an experience and hopefully we're on same flight. I'm imagine for the MAM people from interstate we will leave the day before the 9th. Can't wait for the other emails.

Has anyone had the final call for QCCA Sydney base, saying when the first Ground School will be? There is a few conversations going on here between QCCA and MAM so I was a little confused.

Hey all, well have done my ASIC & my references have been checked however received a really disheartening email today

Over the past few weeks we have been working through the ground school dates and allocating all of the positions we currently have available.

"Due to the overwhelming number of applicants we have been lucky enough to progress through to medical, your application will be placed on hold for 12 months. If a position becomes available within this period you will be notified and we will advise of next steps.
This email does not mean you are unsuccessful it just means your application is on active hold for now."

I mean...what are the chances that they'll be doing another ground school... How could they over recruit? Don't they have certain numbers they need to recruit for? Feeling so sad! :(

Hey All... Got the golden call yesterday for Mel base QCCA, start Feb 15th! Asic and Medical were submitted 2 weeks ago. So excited!

Hi, I applied internally for BNE QCCA and got call and email yesterday saying I'm on active hold for next 12mnts. Has anyone know anyone who has got a job after being active hold?

I'm BNE QCCA and got my ever so golden call today! So absolutely over the moon! Ground school is 22nd of February. I have heard there are ground schools up until May so for anyone on hold it won't be long before you get through! Good luck and congratulations to everyone! Such an achievement! :)

It is quite a big recruitment QF are doing so thought adding forms for MAM an QFlink will help for specific readers.
