Congratulations!!! That is so exciting! Still waiting on my call - my background check is complete so that is where I am at! Did they offer any other GS dates or just August 26th? Hoping for a GS end of Sept/Oct :) All I can suggest is study study study but don’t forget to take time to yourself every now and again too!! Well done again :)

This is for MAM not QCCA, however there isn’t much chat on the MAM forum so I thought you maybe able to help me please. Is the next stage a medical? I Gather from reading other posts that Qantas call you with regards to booking your medical......??? Thank you. 😊 |

I'll definitely remember that when I'm stressing about exams ahahah! I think I heard rumours that there are more ground schools scheduled for September but I could be wrong! It's honestly so changeable but I think you might be in luck! Just stay positive and everything will work out! Good luck... let me know if you hear anything! |

The next stage will be your medical however there's honestly no answer on how long that will be...with our recruitment there are some people who were put on hold prior to the medicals...I fortunately was not! It's honestly just luck I think so try and stay positive and have faith! And yes, you will receive a phone call regarding your progression to the medical! Wishing you all the best!!! |

Thanks for all the advice on this forum! It has helped me so much on this (very long) journey... I applied mid march, AD 13th May, got my golden call this week and start 11th September for GS in Sydney.
Those still waiting, just be patient...trust me its just a process and they are trying their best to push as many people through as possible. Fingers crossed for you all! |

Got my rejection letter today. wahhh a little disheartened. Still excited for you all amd wishing you all so much luck. Cant wait to follow all your progress. |
Oh no!!! I’m sorry to hear! I thought you were past the background checks? I know nothing is guaranteed throughout the process until an offer of employment but wow, I thought you were almost there :( Dont give up - you can always give it another go in 12 months!!

Exactly, keep trying, it will happen one day! Ive had all green ticks on my background check for quite a few weeks now so i’m just waiting for the next stage :) Looks like there’s a few of us at this stage too :)
