No news is good news. I dont think anything will happen before Easter now. Good thing is that we havent got a rejection so we still in it!!! 💪👍👊

Wasn’t it you that posted you’d heard Altara and external FA’s that some had been given no’s? I don’t think we’ve heard of any internals receiving no’s yet.

It was, yes, I was responding to someone else’s post from further up and for some reason, it didn’t come up as a response ... more like a new subject - sorry.

i have definitely heard of External & Altara being told no. I haven’t heard about any internals as yet.

i agree with an above post that it will easily be after Easter and that no news is good news too!

Altara is the company that employs all domestic Jetstar cabin crew initially. Everyone starts as an Altara casual and can apply to Team Jetstar after 12 months.

I received my call this morning for ground school 11th June. Ground school location to be finalised however I will be Melbourne based.

So there's movement again, hang in there everyone, it can be a long process.

Anyone else also starting on the 11/06?

Can I ask you that when did you have an interview to get this ground school? I just applied this year March and still waiting for invitation for an interview..

so far I have had initial application, followed by questionnaire.

could you tell me what was next for you? And time frames?

Definitely! I also still haven't heard anything since the questionnaire but at this point in time no news is good news, I can imagine though when I do see an email from Qantas my heart is going to miss a beat thinking whether or not its a no or pass to the next round T__T lol!!

I have to agree with the other post that the anticipation is also killing me also haha!

Im wishing the very best for all of us, wherever you guys are in Australia.
Im watching and reading from the background but hoping for the best for all of us.
its nice to find a place where we can kinda talk to one another with people who are going through the same thing :)

I will also keep my journey updated if anything comes up! (currently going back to the gym to loose a few more kg lol!! oh also im getting ready for that swim test that we also have to do if we get through)
Hope everyone has a safe Easter and eat lots of yummy chocolate :))

Still waiting for SYD base. However, 2 internal qf staff got their unsuccesfull emails this morning. They did the questionnaire after me. So there is movement.. No news is as said good news at this stage 👍🤞🤞🙏

Hey,

I applied for QF International and one of my work colleagues is friends with International Cabin Crew and he sent her a copy of his roster for her to decide if she can survive on that sort of roster. The roster is set out way differently to ours (we are domestic for another airline) and we don't understand the codes. Can anyone assist us?

You probably better asking this is the cabin crew forum not wannabees to get a reply. I think majority here are just that wannabees and dont work as cabin crew 👍
