I'm from Sydney, (waiting for a GS school date offer) and although I don't have accomodation space to share I thought I'd just suggest going on facebook groups in sydney that offer short term accomodation (if you haven't tried this option yet). Anyone had AD last year November but still waiting?
I had Ad sydn international position and all done to do like swiming rsa drug test so on… and asic also done,
but still wait

why do you keep saying ‘golden call’? ThIs is misleading people as they will expect a call, when it’s an email with an offer and a ground school date which they should be looking out for.

That’s awesome! How did you go? Have you heard anything yet? I think it’s very unfair to overhire people and then leave them hanging, recruiting is a ruthless business. I hope you are not far, just when I start to feel like they’ve forgotten about me, something new happens! I can’t live like that and have started applying for a job in between, just so I’m not shattered if my asic isn’t back in time. 4-8 weeks for a ba I ground check is just crazy. Now I know why the recruiter put me in the juky group. I doubt I’ll even make that one.

Hey, I want to ask your advice, a girl who’s in the same boat as yourself asked for the recruiters email. I am reluctant to pass on this info, as im not sure if I should be posting on this forum to start with.
I asked her why she doesn’t have the same details (reply email address) from her recruiter.
when you were contacted, were you given an email address to contact the recruiter, if you have any issues or questions? I find it weird that she doesn’t, you’d think yhey would’ve sent the same email to everyone if she was successful at her AD, right?

I've been told by a current LH crew member that they have finished the Melbourne AD's until September. So I gather from that there will be more later in the year so if you don't get a rejection letter then hang tight as you may hear more in a few months. I imagine they need to sort through the current AD applicants and sort GS out. I imagine it's a massive logistical operation. It is such a long process but hang in there. No news is still good news in this case. Good luck.
PS. what does LH stand for?

To all those waiting patiently for the "Golden Call" an email was sent to cabin crew internationally today stating "We plan to scale back QCCA recruitment and ramp up multi-endorsement training."

Hi all, I'm an external applicant based in MEL, and did my AD around the start of May. I had a question surrounding the timing of the medical, I submitted my ASIC application and associated docs about 2 weeks ago (so not expecting any news for another 4-6 weeks). Does the medical request from Bodycare usually come through after the ASIC application is completed and approved? Thanks in advance

Hi, my ground school class was told on Friday that the next 2-3 weeks are always a quiet time when the allocations team don't place anyone in anymore ground schools because they're all full. He said towards the end of June they will start up again. It's because a few people were asking for friends who were waiting to get a ground school date.
