QANTAS Cabin Crew
Hey,
I applied for QF International and one of my work colleagues is friends with International Cabin Crew and he sent her a copy of his roster for her to decide if she can survive on that sort of roster. The roster is set out way differently to ours (we are domestic for another airline) and we don't understand the codes. Can anyone assist us?

Hi! It’s great that you are showing initiative by looking into the flying before you apply- it’s a sensible decision.
however the rosters are also a big privacy issue and disclosing or even sharing someone’s roster that isn’t yours might cause more trouble than you Realise.
I can however, give you a general overview.
flying is between 3-10 days in trip length. Most trips are 3,4 or 5 days but in future, could go to 10.
Working hours are average 220hrs over 8 week period.
All other days that aren’t allocated a pattern are considered off. When looking at the roster, the days that have a pattern are the trip, basically.
Because patterns change regularly and there are literally thousands of them, finding out what the actual pattern translates to is actually no help anyway. The pattern number will change depending on the week and day.
So instead, look at the dates that have no pattern attached and they will show you the rough spacing between trips
hope this is helpful?

I’m not sure what you mean by taking Indian crew Kkuky? As long as have the right to live and work in Australia Qantas is multicultural and embraces being know for its multiculturalism.
