Mam Melb

I was contacted by MAM about GS startling 17 Dec which would have been in Melbourne. I needed to give more notice so will do GS next year. They donít have any dates for GS next year but could be either in Melb, Sydney or Brisbane they said.

Hey guys!
I attended the Melbourne assessment day on Tuesday 4th of December at 9:00am 😊

Received an email from Xref on Thursday 6th in the afternoon to send my references information.

References completed their bit by Friday 7th lunchtime and now I wait... checking my emails every chance I get 🤞🏻😬

Wishing everyone luck and Iíll keep updated here!

As we all wait patiently I thought Iíd share what Iíve prepared for the next stages providing theyíre happy with my references it may help others be prepared.

Next from what Iíve read is theyíll ask for an ASIC form to be filled and theyíll need us to send our signed documents so Iíve scanned them ready to go.

Then medical and fitness testing. Iíve been practicing side planks, push ups, sit ups and stretching.

Then at some stage theyíll request my first aid, RSA (current as they expire) and water Competency test.
I found the water Competency test form online rang my local pool and they arranged a lifeguard to test me.
So I now have all three ready for when required.

Hope this helps some.

theskyismyhome,

How did you complete the water competency test? Is there a form from Qantas or does the lifesaver fill something out?

I just googled Qantas water Competency test and there was a form online. I printed it out and called my local swimming pool and arranged a time to be assessed.

Just done with my ASIC-AUSCHECK- background check. All I need to do is to upload the certified documents in their homepage. And also need to upload a current passport size photo. No smile, no hair covering the face. The staff id will be issued then. Currently waiting for all the green ticks. Mine might be longer because I lived In overseas before. All the best
