Hi there! I'm new and I just want to know if Qatar Airways allows reapplication after failed medicals? I applied 2010 and I got rejected for no apparent reason.
I was declared fit. Any of you knows if they'd still accept me? I'm willing to undergo the same process again though..

@thegirlcoach

yes you can still try even after you failed the medicals. Actually you can reapply after 6 mos but since it been 2 years since 2010, you're more than free to apply again

^really? that's awesome! do you know someone who actually got in after she/he initially failed the medicals? I heard or read somewhere that once you failed qatar's medical you can't be accepted anymore because they keep your records. Bad thing bout my case is, I was declared fit so I really had no idea why I was denied....

Hey guys, what's up? I am new here and this is exactly the kind of thread I have been looking for.

First of all, congrats to all the people who got selected. And for the ones who didn't, don't worry I have heard you can try as many times as you can.

I need someone to help me out, so here is the thing:

The QA people came to the country where I live to recruit some people, I passed all the tests and interviews, this happened on November 18-20, 2011. Everything was going well, I was told I would receive an e-mail notifying me whether I made it to the next round or not. I got an e-mail on December 27th, asking for my photos, so I sent them. I haven't heard from them since then... it's been almost 4 months now and I still haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail... they haven't even asked me for my medical exams... is it normal for them to take this long? or should I just give up?

Smile hi decent

if you have not received any regret email from them there is still a chance. by the way, are you a he or she? if you are a male it usually takes longer. i advice you to send them an email for follow up. this is what i did and it helped. they took some time even a week or more to reply but they are responding. in my case, i had my interview january 30, 2012. waited 2 months before i received my congrats email which was last april 2, 2012. now waiting for medical result. just show them that you are still interested.

Cool hey sofia

Congrats! I bet you are excited.

And yes, I am a "he". And as a matter of fact, I did send them an e-mail asking for an update, I got a response few days after informing me that they were still awaiting my results. Three months later ( a week ago) I sent them another one, but unfortunately, I have received no response (yet)... I'm starting to lose hope.

Hi everyone ! Im a MALE
It has been almost 6 months that I passed the Final Interview . I sent them 3 e-mails but I still have not received any response from QR !
I know that I m not the only male who is in this situation and I heard that they don't recruit MALES at the moment . Does anyone know something about this and when they will restart recruiting males or the next MALES training date . If you have some news about that PLEASE let me know .
I appreciate every answer .Thank you

Hi!!
I sent my report of the thoracic SPINE and it was fine I was approved as medically fit, so I'll just post it here so you can have an idea of what kind of information should be in the report

Vertebral alignment and curvature preserved and normal vertebral density and structure. Intersomatics spaces projection maintained.

I guess I did not have any scoliosis at all. And this was all the info I sent. Hope it helps

@Flying 85

Oh damn, where did you hear that? and how certain are you of this rumor? If that is the case I might as well just give up. I thought 4 months was a long wait but 6-7 (or more) months is way more than what I had in mind... this really disappoints me.

Hey guys dont give up

I am also a male and I know it takes a lot of time for males to get in,but dont give up as they have kept you in the waiting list that means they dont want you guys to slip through there hand,they are just looking for new openings for guys and you all know the ratio of guys against girls is very less, so keep the faith and in between keep on doing the good work which you are doing now good luck to you all

I will come to CV submission Jakarta on 5 May.
Please bring your CV in English along with full length and passport size photographs.
Could you tell me about the details for each documents I need? Confusing about full length and passport size photographs.
