Cathay Pacific Cabin Crew Communication Services

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there could answer some questions me and a friend had about Cathay Pacific flight crews.

How do the pilots and flight attendants stay in contact with their friends and family in HK when they travel? Does CX have some sort of subsidy program for cabin crew members? Are there VOIP services at the hotels CX has contracts with?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I would imagine it would be the same as any of the airlines I have worked for. The airline gives you allowance for food/phone calls etc and you can choose if you wish to pay for the hotel wi-fi.

Most hotels will give the crew a discount though and sometimes they provide it to crew for free. Depends on the hotel.
