Emirates training
Hi guys,
I recieved the golden call last wednesday and my DOJ was supposed to be the 8th of feb. However, I am going overseas for two and therefore ad to push my start date back. My recruitment officer told me that was fine but that it wasnt yet confirmed when the next training will be held and that in the meantime my file will be placed on hold. Does anyone have any update regarding when the next batch will be in training following the 8th of feb?

hello every one
i called emirates today to check wht might have happened with my medicals , they told me that they got the ok about the medicals but still didnt get the clearance for the documents of security or something like that !! :S i didnt get her well but
does any one know wht might this be ? or any clue about it ?
they got me reallly confused again !

Hi Flightie,
I'min the same situation, got the call too late to do medicals and hand notice in, so I'm on hold now. I just hope it won't take more than couple of weeks for next courses to start. If I have any update on topic I'll keep you informed. Fingers crossed it won't be long for us to meet in Dubai.

Unacceptable:
-Untreated or active Tuberculosis ( if there is scarring seen on a chest X-Ray from previously treated or active TB)
-Cases of inactive TB diagnosed by positive skin test, with normal chest X-Ray, require 6 months of drug treatment as per WHO protocol. You need a medical certificate that treatment has been completed

The statement is rather vauge saying any past history is not allowed but then they are willing to accept if with medical certificate.

I can't give you the link as it is personal data. That is all in breif they say about the problem. I'm sorry I cannot add anything.... But still try!!! It is worth trying, In any case you can ask it during the Open Day.

AD 14th London
I'm going to the AD on the 14th in London. Anyone else from here going? Im driving from Preston, hoping the weathers going to be ok. Can't find a cheap place to stay nearby thats clean! Has anyone found anywhere?
There must be training dates after the 8th Feb as they're still recruiting and theres lots of people waiting to hear.

Application process
hey ive just finished my application form and imabout to send it off to emirates. Can anyone give me any infomation for how long it takes from when you send your application before you hear anything and when the open days will most probably be. Is it to late for me to put an application in or are there open days throughout the year. Also is there any preference for the photo that you need to include with your application. Thanks any info is appreciated
