Staff Travel on EY/EK

Does anyone know that when you work for Etihad or Emirates what conditions are imposed on nominated people on your staff travel concessions? BA you can nominate certain people and family also qualify, but with EY and EK being arabic airlines, can you have friends travel with you or is it just family? Thanks

EK and EY - no friends no cousins.
ID90 - parents+siblings - 1 ticket per year + 1 of ID50
Self and spouse - unlimited number of tickets per year
Children - after 4 years of continuous service - ID90 unlimited

Category C wider eligibility ticket - uncles, grandpatents and patents in law, step-parents and step-siblings limited to 10 per year.

All subload.
Have fun, it is not worth finding a girlfriend from Ek for travel benefits, dude!

Not strictly true for EY - Immediate family (ie Spouse Parents/Children) unlimited ID90 & ID50 travel. The Class in which you can book these is dependant on position.

You also have 10 subload tickets (5xID90 and 5xID50) for use by anyone you choose to nominate.

10 subload tickets can be used either as ID90 or ID50 for anyone. ID90 tickets also for parents on other airlines who got agreement with EY

We also get ID50 in Business & First Class depending on availability.
Parents also get ID50 in F & J.

Unlike EK, EY can allocate jumpseats

TX...on the other blogs it said that staff travel after 3 months from the date of joining the company and ZED after 6months.does that apply only to a crew member or to family an friends as well.???
