Would love to come back to EK

I was at Emirates, a long long time ago...left over 15 years ago, at the time it was the right decision for me to leave. But due to circumstances would love to go back!!

Since leaving I have built up a career at BA, as a CSD enjoy the job but not necessarily the company.Does anyone know how I go could apply to go back, am concerned because of my age...that could go against me..15 years ago at EK..you work it out!! But really miss it..and was wondering if EK ever take direct entries back into the fold.

Anyone who works in HR/Recrutiment please PM me. Would love to go back. And wil happy to supply info as to when I was there etc..

You could always apply at www.emiratesgroupcareers.com but as far as I know the age limit is about 35 y/o.

Also you won't come back as PURSER here as many things have changed over the last 15 years, you'll start from the bttm and work the way up, probably faster than the rest but you'll have to learn all different types of services in all 3 classes.

I haven't been here for 15 years, so I can comment on how different things were on those days but things have changed a lot since I joined and I don't think that leaving B.A. would be a smart choice.

Do your home work and consider the pros and cons.

Good luck in what ever decision you take

Bunnygirl bloody good for you and I can't honestly say I blame you in light of the latest BA fiasco.

I am at BA and am praying they will offer a decent severance package.

Give it a try you never know.

Have you also thought about applying to join one of the middle east airlines in a training capacity?

Hi Ozzie,
Yep thought about training..but still love flying, after all these years and BA still hasn't put me off

Will hold out at BA for a little bit longer and see what the severance package is like.

For those who aren't at BA, please dont be put off, but when you've been with the company a while, it starts to grate a little when all you here from so called managers is doom and gloom and constant and I mean CONSTANT threats of job cuts, contract changes etc.
