Dear Scott
We would like to thank you for your participation in the selection process for the QCCA Flight Attendant role.
We have certainly enjoyed meeting with you through this process and appreciate your patience during the past weeks, whilst your application has been on hold and also the many changes taking place within the aviation industry.
By this stage your application has been seriously and rigorously assessed, in terms of individual merit and suitability for the position and after careful consideration on this occasion we will not be proceeding further with your application at this time.
We were extremely fortunate to receive a large number of high quality applications. The inevitable result is that some very good candidates will be disappointed that they have not been selected.
Whilst your application on Staffcv will remain active for you to update as required, a period of 6 months from the date of this e-mail must elapse before your application will be reconsidered for future positions. This is, of course, dependent on whether we are recruiting at the time.
Thank you greatly for the time and effort you have invested in your application. We wish you success with your future endeavours.
Kind regards
QF Cabin Crew Australia PTY Limited

That is horrible!! At least now you can put your focus on other airlines. V Australia could be the way to go by the sounds of this at the moment. I'm sure you would have been fabulous working in the sky...

Suck it up and apply again Beachbum. Be mature about it. Learn from it and try again.
QF have ZERO process when accepting new recruits. There are great ones and idiots.
Put it down to learning and approach it from a differnt angle

beachbum, I am so sorry to hear you got the no email. You must feel so bad. Do as everyone says and apply for other airlines and then in 6 mths time try Qantas again. Don't give up.

If you got as far as you did, then you certainly have what it takes.
Unfortunatly there would have been other candidated there that perhaps looked better on paper?
Keep trying because there will be an airline (and even QF again in 6mnths time) that would want you.
NZ2.
