From what I've read (and this is only from reading on forums), airlines require you to wear contact lenses, not glasses while in flight/in the terminal.

you're probably best to ask in the forum for the specific airline which you're looking to apply for, so that some people who work for the company/have been through the medicals can tell you first hand

Hey Simone,

I haven't heard anything like that. From what I've heard CC recommend wearing glases rather than contacts as contacts can dry your eyes out, specially when you are flying. I also wear glasses myself and during both of my interviews no such thing has been mentioned...

Is there any specific airline that has these requirements?

Breeza.

I had only read this re. overseas carriers (Emirates, Qatar, and many European carriers) but these airlines are known for being super particular about grooming etc.
Sorry didn't mean to be giving the wrong info!!
