Question OzJet- Rosters etc....

Hi all,

Just wondering if there are any OzJet crew there who might be able to let me know a little about what it's like working there. I attended an interview recently for Perth-based positions.I know the pay rates and all that kind of stuff so don't need to know that, but just wondering what the rosters usually look like.

They said that you may fly as little as twice a week or as much as 5 days a week and that you get 2 days off a week with reserve making up the other days you're not flying. How often would you get called on reserve, is it easy to do other things around this job e.g. study or work a 2nd job? (I'm talking the 'permanent' positions here)

What is the crew morale like? Does everyone mostly get along? How about the pax? Just wanting to know whether it would get a bit 'routine' after awhile. Obviously it would be different for different bases, but... also charters were mentioned, for example, the recent Japan trip for Kev, but would this have been done by East Coast crew or do they share the charter flying across all bases? Wondering whether there are any 'good' charters out of Perth or any international flying aside from Bali.

It seems like a good company and one where you could have a bit of a life outside of work. Any information much appreciated!!!
