but what if no pax fill up A380, any company would downside the A/C to match some routes that they have to keep it on the routes map ie. SYD
So A380 will be in the hangar for maintenance, and what is the point of hoping on move up to higher position for the A/C that are in the hangar.
i have been in the situation that the airlines said we need to be on SBY lines and pull us back off the block coz A/C need to be maintenance.
But for whatever reasons the company said to us, no one should try to find out the fact.. the best is to accept that and stay home on the SBY line and no call out. I was in the situation regarding un-paid leave. Let me tell you.. it was a great fun ever!! Nob, sad and bitten.
And for ID90 and ID50 is only on EK for the first 3 years of contact.
In this crisis yes, good thing we will be on board coz no pax, no full flight.
And for those who need to pay off the loan or make it up for the money they have spent on the medical. With the min hours pay (which no garantee yet) I'm not sure anyone would have money to go on a holiday.
My friend she is working for a travel agent and we all have the industrial rates for the tickets. And those ticket is always a firm seat. So i don't think she needs that at all. She mentioned to me she want to have an experiences of flying.. for travelling as I know she has been to many countries as well.
And the A380 crew in our airline are moaning about the pay and the hrs atm so if we flown from downunder so far to everywhere and still got this problem, I still try to see to picture of flying to anywhere from DXB would be how many hrs? I know you have a positive thought as I have been thinking as well as a realistic.

Aurora, they will give you a call. For me it was 10 days after the final interview, others have waited longer, I think maybe up to 6 weeks.

Good news
just got the news from TV, now Australian defence have a new policy to reduce the budget for those Army officer, now those officers have to fly only on ecnomy class to the WAR. Those Army officers have came out and said they are not going to the WAR if they have to fly on economy (usually they fly on J or F only).. what a good news... so it will be NO more people go to the war and it will be no more WAR.
Then...economic will get better!! Let's pray for that..NO WAR in Iraq!!

How could you become a cabin crew. No patient, no respect, dishonest, and can not accept what you did. Seems like you are the one who try to reinstruction the company policy not the one who followed as you said.
Why don't you are the one who get back to the corner and let the other find out the informaiton they want. It might be non sense to you but it is make more sense too some ppl here as well. I'm in my corner and still want to see how the situation will be.

jeez, wats going on here, look at the arguements ur causing ox, just leave every1 alone, nobody, from what i can see is interested, so stop going on with yourself, everyone else, if u ignore some1 for long enough and dont add fuel to the fire, their bound to get bored...hopefully, 3 cheers to positivity! we will all b workin with ek very soon!

a simple 'yes, i got the job' or 'no, i got canceled' would do.
i came her to find some informations about whats going on and what I got was your posts (that are actually novels) proving yourself.
that's not the issue here.
people here are gathering informations on who and when is or isn't going, and that's all.

Not a problem, anyone feel free to give their opinion. And I know some of info. I posted still useful for someone here.
So it up to you, take it or not. The true is the true so I don't mind any opinion. Good thing of my post is making ppl laughing at me in this crisis which is one of the helpful thing anyway and I'm glad that some of you have read and use it for any mind theraphy for this painful time or making up their mind what to do.
Time to laugh, how long you have been waiting to turn to the certain aged, how long you have to wait for the golden call, how many times you bang your head against the wall when you couldn't reach the HR for just a small answer, How many times you cry from this, well, it has been too long guys, for some ppl who have to wait for almost a year (or half) to turn 21 to get the state of waiting for the golden call, it is way too long beyond resonable. The passion is a good thing but if it's too intense, it will become the obsession..
For the newer to this forum...if you haven't expereinced "The waiting games"...., welcome to the show! The newer still can get those answer from here, or check back those posts in the past 2 and a half month or even better back 3-4 months so the newer can see...some ppl who have a great passion to be on this forum for this long. I think it will be enough info. for the newer to know what is going on here!
