Hi,

I'm seriously thinking of applying for a seniors position but just like you guys wanted a heads up on things. I have experience of working for and with an Icelandic set up and I enjoyed it.

Smile About Jetx

They are an icelandic airline opening a new base in Dublin. They do alot of sub chartered flights for many different airlines. They operate 2 types of aircraft mostly however they do wet lease aircraft from time to time. The Aircraft are Boeing 737 and MD83. Seems like a good option. Dublin is expensive to live in however I do recommend living in swords with about a 15 drive to the airport. I myself thought of appling for them as senior so I did a bit of looking into them. Seems to be a good airline with great chances of progressing themselves. Great looking uniform lol. Started around 2004. I have placed the company website which will give you more details. Hope this helps.

Thank you Nick

I have applied but heard nothing yet. I'm not from Dublin but would relocate if necessary. I think it looks good. You cannot be ad hocs and sub charters for variation in flying.

hey

I for he past 5 years have been based on the Airbus A320 A321 A330 and Boeing B767. You will love the A321 it is a great aircraft to fly on. Plenty of room. Two main passenger doors and 2 floor level doors. The location diagram is ok to do. single lane cabin normal crew of 5 to 7

I think he/she's mistaken jucylucy's reference to you 'A321' as a reference to the aircraft 'A321'.

Looks like an interesting outfit, probably around to fill the gap left by eirjet. Icelandic though, hope it's better than Air Atlanta.

I suspect that this new operation will be doing summer IT flights and the occasional ski charter in the winter. Expect to work hard and long hours in the summer!

Dear Girt Big un, have you got anything to do with Flightline!!! I notice you are both located at Southend!!! Will the Aviajet contract be temporary or permanent? Any further info would be really helpful as I heard Flightline are good to work for. As this is a JetX thread I thought I'd better mention them - they will be contacting applicants next week. Tks
