Questions

Do they only email you if you're successful with the online application? I mean, will they email you a rejection email as well?

Hmmmmm....lol

We'll see, I did send mine in after both of you 2, so hoping they are making their way through it all.

What will be, will be and all that. Good to hear that people are going through to assessments though

I'm going to be driving down to the assessment (all the way from manchester, urgh!), is there parking available nearby or on site?? I don't mind having to pay.

Oh by the way, i'm going to the 8th April assessment at 12.30.

Don't park in short stay

There might be spaces at Cranebank, but it's probably best to park in Hatton Cross car park (fairly cheap) and get the BA4 bus

Ladies and gentlemen there is plenty of space for you at the Cranebank multi storey staff car park. This is accessed by turning right into the BA centre and go directly into the car park. From there walk out to the service road and down to the next gate on your right which is for Rivers.

Please learn as much as you can from the BA web site on our business and be prepared to speak on your achievments with people. You will be interviewed by 2 persons one from CC and one from HR. If you can practise answering questions with your friends creating an interview scenario it may help.

You have got this far the rest is easy. Pay is about £12000 basic with about £500 per month allowances on top. All be lucky.

Basic pay is not £12000, i've been at BA for 3 years and whilst i'm not going to start publising my wages, i'm still not on 12k basic

Application Process

Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat. I applied for LGW fleet on the 20th march and still haven't heard anything back yet not sure if it's a good sign. I've seen they've extended the closing date from 25th march to the 1st april so maybe that's why. Would love to hear from anyone in a similar situation the waiting is killing me
Thanks x

Crew Girl

I'm in the same position. I applied for LGW on 24th March and saw the closing date was 25th but wasn't aware they had extended it. The waiting is killing me as well.

LGW Pay is about £11000 basic after 6 months and less than the £500 per month allowances.

Assessment day tomorrow

Got my assessment day tomorrow and I'm so nervous but fingers crossed.

To those still waiting for a reply from their applications, it took about 10 days for me to get an invitation. It can be 1 day, or 10 days. Just be patient!

Quick question,

Although I applied for LGW, I'm now thinking that LHR would be easier and closer to me to get to. Obviously I'd be thrilled to bits to even get an assessment, however how easy is it to transfer between the two?
