Hi Aaron,
because I hate to be late for anything it looks like you and I may be the first two there on Tue.
Yes - I was offered full time work with Tiger earlier this year but that would have been out of Tulla and because I live down the coast past Geelong you can see how perfect AVV would be for me. I was told that when full time recruitment comes up for AVV I would be called in for a 20 min chat and skip the rest - but the other day was told they (Tiger) were not sure when the next full time recruitment would be, so thought I had better take this while its there.
I also started ground school (full time) with Team Jetstar about 2 years back, but again being out of MEL it didn't work out.
Would agree with Lady that yes - full time would be much better.
oh well...lets give it a go..!!

Gday
Hi Rmondo
Well Im sure your already in, quite experience with cabin crew interviews. Im the opposite to you, im closer to Altona so Tulla is pref however Avalon is ok sort of but got given that pref (i guess not to many people express interest with AVV), Rmondo can you remember what the group interview was like with Tiger before you got offered full time and also the people who observe do they actually make you relax it can be quite distracting when you know interviewers are taking notes on your table and right next to you lol something I have to deal with, anyway looks like your in already and know what to expect see you on Tuesday AROUND 7:30ISH

Hi Green Envy,
Have you heard anything yet from Assesment Day...Did you get through? Has any one else who attended heard back yet?
Wanted to wish all those going next week for Avalon all the best

I could not go through tiger since I could not committ to start immediately and I have not heard back from them.
I also received another email from Altara telling me that I have been invited for an assessment day. However, it is with Jetstar. I misread it, thought it was with tiger.
The assessment day is sometime in August.

Was the Altara invitation re jetstar for MEL/AVV duel base or just MEL?
I was wondering if jetstar may look at starting a Avalon only base as well, following in the footsteps of Tiger...?

Hi Rmondo
Not sure. All it says is MEL, SYD or QLD as preferred base.
Then you get an email saying that I you are invited to attend an assessment day in your chosen location which could be within weeks or months depending on their recruitment requirements.
I called them up and they said it will be sometime in August.
You will have to call and ask about Avalon.

Hey guys.. Just wondering how many people know if they were successful with the Tullamarine base yet? I just want to meet everyone that I will be training with.
