Introduction to British Isles Aviation
This forum has been set up to reduce the UK-centric nature of the Private Flying forum, allowing discussion here of concerns affecting only UK and Ireland. Please note that "British Isles" is a geographical term encompassing the islands of Great Britain and Ireland, not a political term!
Going forward, Private Flying is for matters relating to flying light aircraft (including gliders, hot air balloons, etc.) anywhere in the world, while this new forum is for GA matters specific to the UK and Ireland - e.g. aerodromes, nav aids, licensing, training establishments, airspace restrictions.
Feel free to create threads here dedicated to your home aerodrome.
