Having flown my last trip into the dungheap that is India I am more than happy to watch from afar these days.
BJets biggest problem is refusing to pay bribes like everyone else. Maybe if they did that they could '....function like other organizations.....'. Made my job easier, we just paid up and got the service while the handlers and everyone else ignored them. Nice to have integrity I suppose but it does not get you far in the Third World. |
Looks like it took YOU far....away from India at least.;)

:}So, Is the company still floating? I hear that they have a base in seletar, singapore? Just wondering, are the airplanes based there under the 9V register? If so, any flying going on?
|
Can anyboby please confirm the latest goss on the grapevine?
Allegedly....most pilots have not been paid and many Captains have no intention of returning to a company led by management that has continually failed to live up to all commitments. The Singapore base was apparently closed down at the insistance of a major Indian business partner and logos have been removed from all business vehicles.. Other employees have apparently resigned due to their concerns about certain aspects of the operation and living conditions provided by the company. Apparently all aircraft are presently on the ground due crewing issues mentioned as well as aircraft that remain in the hands of maintenance providers until payment is resolved. If any one can provide any info as I am sure those chaps currently following this thread would be interested in a corporate start up that has insufficient money to pay crew ( and other employees) and its ability to continue operations in decent shape?:ooh: The Tail Gunner |
BEWARE! a bad idea
Hi all,
I hear BJETs have started to recruit after the almost complete collapse of the company - do consider this before signing the contract with this operation of questionable stability and ability. THEY OWE A LOT OF MONEY TO COMPANY PILOTS, MIDDLE MANAGEMENT AND A WHOLE ARRAY OF CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS ETC Some pilots are owed in excess of $10000 and management refuse to pay them! Be assured some management are still getting paid.........something seems not right...perhaps there are different agendas at foot. BEWARE! AS SOON AS A PILOT IS OUT OF THE COUNTRY ON ROTATION THEY BECOME FAIR GAME TO HAVE THEIR WORK CONDITIONS COMPROMISED AND THEIR PAY......well, any company that is unable to pay wages is not the ideal company to work for - factor in this situation the location is in a 3rd world country and you may get a bad feeling about this. .......and yes expat pilots have correctly refused to return as conditions have become, shall we say highly unregulated operationally as well as totally unacceptable living conditions. This operation is as Mickey Mouse as it gets Management lies have been feed to all about the actual conditions of the company - all at the detriment of many previous employees. :ugh: THIS MANAGEMENT NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE It seems that the Management has no consicence as to the affect of falsehood and broken promises he continues to provide := He is some thought for the man who has affected many "Men are not punished for their sins, but by them" I would consider what structures a company has in place, and should have in place - Consider a comparison to a known company that has a full management compliment in all required posts, its SMS & policies as well its ability support for pilots I believe ALL FOs have left, and all Captains HAVE LEFT! ( maybe one left??) As for post holders in compulsory positions - where are they?????? You may think, great a start up with a chance to become elevated as the company progresses - you may also think this is a great chance to fly in a different aviation arena BJETS, nice web page, absolutely no substance. A start up after two plus years and things seem to have gone backwards instead of forwards. It could have something to do with the Indian bureaucracy.
I'm sure there is also a simple explanation as to why people are owed money...all the bribes and backhanders and a lack of substantial charters have left the company broke. Of course the top management who are 'running' the company must get paid otherwise who will run the company? Why should others get paid, nothing is happening plus pilots aren't that important...that is just a silly idea!!! :} |
Close It Down - Liquidate And Pay All Owed
There comes a time when management need to look at how they lost money and how a company continues to Hemorrhage money and at what cost this is to the employees
If the "paid" management keep the company running , but dont pay pilots and others - what sort of management would you call that? Easy enough to blame the Indian system, and I dont doubt it has been a contributing factor - as it is a totally corrupt mess Still Management have a responsibility to say when the operation has failed and not continue to get paid while the company has effectively broken down. This is not the first collapse of BJETs. Same management though. If the same activity was in a western world such as the US or Europe - would this senario continue? - THINK! No wonder the major partners are now at some distance from this fiasco |
BJETS recruiting again?
It seems that this lot are keen to repeat the same scam , as they are advertising for more pilots again.
All I can say is all the pilots still waiting for money owed have not received anything. If it is CJ or Hawker drivers required in India, check to see if it is BJETs:suspect: |
