The deal may have been weak according to you, but doesn’t warrant such an aggressive response against them AND Europe when you have never worked here (technically, as you say). It’s not nice. Calm down and move on. I’m sure they dodged a bullet with you too. Enjoy America.

You seriously think this a fair offer and a reasonable salary for somebody that has a 100.000 Euro education? The PC-24 typerating is costing NOTHING to the owner as the airplane comes with 3 free typeratings from Pilatus. The 4 landings for the basetraining cost probably 2500 euro for the 30-45 minutes of flying. A 25000 Euro bonding would be on the high side for this project with 15000 to 20000 more realistic.

And as for the best bonding, why not pay a fair pilot salary and give good conditions. Works so much better then forcing people to stay.

But everybody gets what they deserve. Flying group a bunch of desperate pilots and you probably a ****ty career. I feel sorry for you.

I´ll echo to that! The low conditions offered by Flying Group in this particular case seems to have been aimed at just attracting a relatively inexperienced Captain (a beginner). It´s been voiced that FG have been able to attract a very experienced pilot for this position, however with the offered conditions, I doubt the new hire will be retained for long - as the aviation industry picks up. Recruitment and retention - somebody will have to pay. The owner will only realize this as he gains experience having his shiny jet. FG fouled him.

Wow... that sounds a lot like the offer I received from another western european company last week - 5000€ gross and 75€ per diem for a PIC on a medium jet where I should also do Line Training for fresh FOs straight from flight school and zero jet experience for...

Had the same thing myself , 5k offer gross which netted out at 3200 , some per diems 80 of 100 euro I think , and a ******* stupid bond of 70k . I was an unemployed heavy jet pilot for 1 year with approx 15k hours .Decided I keep doing the gardening . 2 weeks later rehired back on the 777. I did subsequently discover that these bonds aren’t worth the paper they are written on , unenforceable under EU law , refuse to pay , and no court will make you pay it .
would still love to experience private jet work at some stage though .
