VP-C registration, manuals

Hi guys,
we are in the process of putting an aircraft onto the VP-C register. Has anybody any expirience how to get the now required manuals?
Thanks!

clivewatson 4th Jul 2011 09:27

I can't answer your question, but wonder what advantages you believe that Cayman registration offers?

HermanTheGerman 4th Jul 2011 15:45

it would be nice if somebody could answer the question. If you want to discuss VP vs M then please open a new thread.

Depending on what your lacking, It might be a plan to go to a consultant who specialises in creating manuals for this type of situation.

Depending on what you need I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Trying to write your own ops manual from the ground up sounds like a full time job for somebody.

What stereotype would that be then??? No need to get so touchy or personal!!

He's probably already done his research on the benefits of the respective registrations and didn't really want someone telling him 'what he needed to do'!!

Crosswind...I agree 100%...Maybe the principal has decided "VP-"...In any case, I have flown 3 different VP reg A/C on contract and the endorsements are very easy to get...Great folks to work with...

Herman, I hope you got the answer to your question.

Just as a matter of interest, and as you appear to have considered a variety of registration options, would you be kind enough to share your views regarding the pros and cons for the benefit of others?

From time to time many of us have to re-visit this subject, and I am sure your insight would be helpful.

You certainly live up to the stereotype your name suggests.
So what are Germans then? Hermans?

Come on, tell me, I wanna know!

Varusschlacht

Unfortunately in German. Short version...Germanic troops under the leadership of Arminius ( Hermann ) beat the Roman troops....

clive, I am just the stupid pilot, I can't explain in last detail, but it has to do with VAT-reasons. We dealed with the Isle of Man people first, but apperently we found out we would have to pay the VAT. That was the reason. The lawyers investigated and found we had to go VP-C.

Anyway we found somebody who will help us in the manual- question. Thank you.

Lady, this is not the person my nickname is referring to. My nickname stands for this person:

Gerhard Neumann - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NuName 6th Jul 2011 16:03

The registration will not change the VAT liability in Europe if that is where it will be based or normally operate, especially with European pax or crew. I know this with firat hand experience in France, twice!

SpoolingUp 9th Jul 2011 08:12

Well Herman that's just ludicrous. LadyGrey is of course right - Herman the German is the guy in the photo.

Hermannsdenkmal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He overlooks the town of Detmold in Germany where I spent a few years of my life.

If you want to be linked to Gerhard Neumann you need a better name like Neumann the Goyman - ha ha - sorry time on my hands down route!

I am just wondering what kind of forum this is. I don't know LadyG, but probably she knows more about my nickname and why I choosed this one- what's that?

NuName is telling things we all sorted out before- and I explained it before- (no the aircraft won't be based in europe!!!! :ugh: )

I think we better close this thread. I have got the solution anyway, without answers from this thread.

Just help another "stupid pilot" out and point out where it was that you explained that the aircraft will not be based in Europe. I suggest that if you get so wound up so easily you should not ask the questions in the first place, a little tightly bound are we? :ok:

mutt 9th Jul 2011 19:25

Ouch..... NuName tried to be helpful and that's the response he got....... HTG you started this, suggest you delete your first message and the rest will disappear.....
