Any news at all...?

Hello everyone,

after staring for two month at no news at all I am wondering if anyone could give some updates on the current personnel situation at NJE.

Cheers:zzz:

EatMyShorts! 6th Jul 2009 23:23

Nothing new. Probably no new hires for up to four years. In best case 2 years.

"No news????"
Where have you been? NJE about to lose over 200 pilots! What does that tell you about chances of recruitment?

smallfry 7th Jul 2009 07:37

NO, no, no... Chances are good... send me a CV with an application processing fee for £50. If you are successful, Mr Flintstone will accept £100 for a 'virtual sim assessment'. There may be a few more steps, but you get the picture?
:hmm:

Judging by Rudeldu's location, he has been away with Michael Jackson, which might explain why he is not up to date with the latest NetJets' news...or was that 'Neverland'?

Flintstone 7th Jul 2009 09:00

Like the way you're thinking smallfry. We can meet afterward and divvy up the proceeeds. Shall we say the bar at The Courtyard? ;)

redsnail 7th Jul 2009 09:23

Flinty, you owe me a new keyboard. :ok: :}

Can we call that option 6 on the NJE redundancy plan? Sorry mate!

What are the latest at chez-NJE, after the multiple bail-out plans? Any light at the end of the tunnel?

Still blowing hot & cold on recall of optioned crew so forget about recruitment

drag king 23rd Feb 2012 23:02

Never had any doubt about it, I was rather wondering how many there could be left after 3 yrs...

I know a skipper who finally took the cash and went to live the dream on a Van in Africa. He might not had been the only one!

808 as of very recently

You meant the whole workforce, didn't you? With 170-ish hulls in the fleet (quick google-search, nothing accurate...) it means a crew factor of...4.7?

It would be about right for an airline ops, not sure about a bizjet-almost-airline-like one. When the sh...t hit the fan there were about 300 to go. Has the situation worsened and how far are they from the ideal "weight"? That was my original Q.

Regards

Aha - well it was 1050 crew in 2009 and something like 140 aircraft from memory

PPRuNeUser0215 25th Feb 2012 13:45

Doubt there is much more than 110 aircraft left.
170 was a looong time ago, when money was no issue and the limit to our expansion was.... err limitless apparently.

Volorovescio 30th May 2012 11:46

will they recruit pilots again?

redsnail 30th May 2012 13:53

Not in the foreseeable future.

NetJets Europe crew in Maun

Slightly off topic, but CS-DKD is in my current hometown of Maun, Botswana and, as a former employee of NJE, I'd be interested to have a chat with the crew.

It's probably a bit of a long shot to ask here, but if one of the crew happens to read this or anybody knows who the crew are, please PM me.

NetJets Europe application status update

Hi all, just wanted to check if any of you have an idea what's time period to hear back from Netjets after receiving an email that they will contact you SHORTLY for a phone interview? Thanks!

EatMyShorts! 21st Jan 2016 22:06

No idea. Have you applied for a job at EJME? NJE are not hiring for the time being, we are still discussing about how upgrades should be done...

skygirl321 22nd Jan 2016 07:02

Yes, it is EJME (application was done trough NJE, seems like they are doing recruitment for them). Since there isn't much info about EJME, maybe you have an idea of their rotation, is it similar to NJE? Thanks!
