i saw the same advert today, and have asked a few of our pilots here ( i work for an exec jet co) and they have no idea who it might be either.

advert didn't specify any hours requirements tho so i guess it'll attract a bucket load of replies.

Hope someone out there can shed some light......

Anyone (also a pilot?) could put in an add like that, to find out about what other takers there are on the market. Didn't see the add myself though. Does it look sincere?

Hey Guys

Yeh saw the advert recruitment being done Reed Employment very suspicious of these things, one advert last year looking for VIP cabin crew for a new corporate airline starting soon out of gatwick was actually for a tv company offering £1000 to dish the dirt on airlines and what crew get upto.

Personaly I think that it might be a ringer, as no one seems to know anything about this lot.

Does anyone else have any other information on this lot would be interesting to find out and would be glad if its true.

Yep

I rang REED the employment agency on Fri, trying to elicit some hard facts, not looking for anything sensistive mind, but I was slightly dubious and the agent unfortunately did little to ease my fears.

I shall not be submitting a CV.

Sorry little else.

On the subject of hour requirements the ad did stipulate an ATPL, so i suppose they are infering an hour requirement of 1500 hours.
I'm suspicious also!

As a matter of interest, I posted my cv to them almost the day the ad came out.... heard absolutely nothing from them.

I know the 'Reed' group quite well (previous life), and also some of the 'dedicated' Pilot Leasing/Recruitment companies, and to be honest cannot see why a new company would go to a 'Non-specialist'. The rates for the 'specialist' companies are not high at the moment, as they are having to fight over scraps of business like everyone else.

Can anyone remember the f*** *p that Walton Churchill did for DHL on the 75's as a non-specialist.... makes me wonder how genuine this is!

It could be Simon Newbolds operation with a Falcon 900 at London City.
Just a guess!!!

Me thinks you may have got the wrong end of the stick!!
We have been talking about an ad. in Flight, put in by an agency called Reed headed "New Corporate Airline". All the previous info. I have posted about the above was confirmed by Reed.
Good luck with your venture anyway!

I do so love it when they can't even be bothered to thank you for sending your CV - Perhaps the young Reed lady was trained by Ryanair

End of Rant!
