Netjets Europe expansion - which aircraft start on?
Looks like Warren Buffet is intent on building the European wing of Netjets - spending a lot of money on business development. I understand that new jets might be on the way as well.
Assuming a pilot has some Jet PIC time and thousands of hours, which aircraft could this pilot potential start on? What has been the trend lately - the Bravo, the Excel, the Hawker or Falcon? Have there been many direct-entry Falcon 2000 SICs?
Any "new" Netjets pilots out there care to comment on your new position and aircraft and what the transition to the line was like? What is the most interesting destination you have flown to thus far?
Cheers

recent interviewees comment ?
Maybe this question should be directed at those recently interviewed ?
Any current candidates care to comment ?
I'm sure there are lots of NJE pilots who would love to hear which appointments are being offered !
Out of interest lavdumperer, what is the source of your info concerning Warren Buffet ?

Veryquietandshy,
There were numerous articles in the Wall Street Journal in the States - he is very interested in turning around the European operation and intends to grow the fleet - perhaps double it. That is what the main article said... The US arm is doing quite well and expansion is tremendous - just ordered as many as 200 new aircraft in the last few weeks for delivery in 2005 and onwards...

VQ&S
I stand to be corrected but I think 7 or 8 new F/O's have gone on the Bravo fleet plus a couple of new captains transferred (upgraded) from other fleets.
I also hear there was a second wave (ripple) of job offers this week but don't know how many, fleet, seat etc.
Falcons must be top heavy. Captains there are like buses (arrive in two or threes).
Heard anything else?
