If you want to miss the crazy traffic in Lagos - the Legend Hotel at the airport, opposite the Execujet hangar.

If you’ve never been to Lagos and you want to have a good time you can always stay at the (in Africa at least) infamous Sheraton Lagos. I believe the night club is now a casino. But it can’t have changed that much since I was last there.

4 Points on Vic Island - if you don't mind the traffic to and from the airport, need about 1:45 on a bad day...

Our company has aircraft based Lagos.
We now use Radisson Blu at airport. Not too far, nice rooms, reasonable food.

Previous post quoting 1.45 hrs to Victoria Islnand on a bad day, I would say is optimistic.
I have often spent 3 hrs and more travelling from that area to airport. If there is a bad accident traffic can be truly awful.
