Please Fly me There -FW air ambulance fundraising Cambridge any info?

Curioisly an old classmate of mine and now a local businesswoman / charity fund raiser mentioned a newish fundraisingc chairty my old neck of the woods is now launching its Please Fly Me There air ambulance / repatriation of sick kids around the world. Its founded and owned by a gent whose first hand experience of his brother ill abroad etc etc The PleaseTakeMeThere was established a year ago albeit just for fundraising for ground transportation in the likes of Myanmar...

https://www.pleasetakemethere.org/ourwork/

https://www.pleasetakemethere.org/fly/

The website says they work vith volunteer pilots at EGSC , with the likes of Cambridge Aeroclub,

Some of the charity partners are Textron, and a Czech operator Vector Air..

TBH I would have thought they partner with the likes of Gama Aviation, tbh to have a suitable equipped air ambulance..for the obvious reasons.

Does anybody know of this charity?

Cheers

Hello,

My name is Fernando Pinho, the founder of "Please Take Me There".

I just want to provide you with some additional information.

Our charity was founded in 2015 to help children with cancer in Myanmar and Ghana. In these countries, access to cancer treatment is very difficult mostly due to the costs associated. Each family travels an average of 12 hours just to get to the hospital, and most of them can't afford it. We help them financially, by paying for their travels. So far, we offered more than 2700.

In the UK we offer free transport to cancer patients that are struggling financially. We are not an air ambulance, as we only transport ambulatory patients. This is a free service only provided in our region (Cambridge).

I would like you to watch this short piece from the BBC about our work -

I would be very happy to answer any of your questions

All the very best

Fernando Pinho
