Expired EASA ATPL Theory - Career Advice
They did not.
Try actually reading the OPs question, or maybe my answer again. I can't understand it for you, but I will attempt to explain it again:
The OP asked if there was a way around taking the ATPL exams, specifically for someone looking to get a CPL/IR maybe an FO position.
There is:
(1) get an ICAO IR
(2) get 50 hours IFR PIC
(3) convert via CBIR route with an Oral exam.
The references are all above. EASA Exams do not 'expire' but they do 'remain valid for the issue of' - it's quite an important to understand the difference.
In the OPs case, the ATPLs are no longer valid for the issue of an IR, (hence the convoluted CBIR route) but they ARE valid for a first Multi Pilot Type Rating or an FI rating.
